Coin cells like the CR 2032 and other sizes in the button or small battery area are widely used. Your car remote, bathroom scale, door bell and so many other devices use these types of cells. Cell phones, drones, toys are primary users of lithium polymer types of batteries. In recent years Lithium Ion, Lithium Polymer, Lithium Phosphate are used in many rechargeable cells or packs of various sizes. Many may be familiar with the 18650 lithium Ion 3.7V cell. Used in flashlights, Vapes, the Tesla Car, navigation systems and other cutting edge technology new variations of this cell and its size are showing up weekly. Lithium Phosphate is popular for use in solar applications. Usually if used in common cell sizes capacity is 3.2 volts. This technology is starting to make headway for motorcycle and automobile applications.
