SANDER Thanks for Your 2016 Participation, Legislative Efforts Will be Focus for 2017 O n behalf of the IADA Board of Directors and staff, I would like to thank all of our mem- bers for your participation in association activities, month- ly CVR seminars, and pro- grams this past year. As we start 2017, we’d like to encourage you now more than ever to continue your involvement in our legislative grassroots efforts, and your participation in CAR of Illinois, IADA’s statewide political action com- mittee. We have an important legisla- tive year ahead of us. IADA looks forward to hosting the 2017 Legislative Conference on Tues- day, May 16th. Please mark it on your calendars as we encourage all Board members and dealers throughout the state to attend if possible. The lunch meeting will take place in Springfield at the Sangamo Club followed by state visits at the Capitol, and an evening BBQ at the IADA offices. Please take the time to get to know your legislators and build a relationship with them. It really makes a difference when we need their support on industry issues. Plan to join us for our annual in- dustry event, the IADA-CATA Spring Conference, being held March 29th – April 2nd at the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando, FL. The conference package includes 4 nights lodging, Welcome Reception, Morning Breakfast, Indus- try Speakers, Theme Party, Farewell Party, beautiful pools and spa, and a free shuttle to all the exciting amuse- ment parks in the area.
