As we start 2013, we’d like to bring to your atten- tion that this is a very important legislative year with 40 newly elected legislators, which will influx a wide variety of legislation impacting our industry. We encourage you nowmore than ever to continue being politically active. The key to our successes continues to be a strong grassroots involvement with proactive and engaged dealer members. Please get to know your legislators and support them whenever possible! Plan to join us for two important industry events we have scheduled in 2013: • The IADA – CATA Spring Conference will be held April 3-7, 2013, at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort and Spa. The Conference package includes breakfast sessions, industry speakers, several receptions, and a Beach Extravaganza! Reflect and reconnect during a seaside getaway in Marco Island. • The 2013 Legislative Conference will be held in Springfield during May, which is the final month of the Legislative Session. Join IADA as we meet and greet legislators at our Legislative BBQheld at the IADA offices adjacent to our State Capitol. For the most efficient and effective way to protect the investment in your dealership, come to Springfield for one day and participate in the legislative process. Regardless of the size of your dealership or how active you’ve been in the past, we need your support in Springfield to make certain your interests are represented at the State Capitol.
